6-8 apples thinly slices (a tart apple)
3/4 c. sugar
2 TBLS. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
ground nutmeg
2 TBLS. butter
1 TBL. lemon juice

Combine sugar, flour and spices, and salt and mix with apples. Then sprinkle filling
with lemon juice. Dot the filling in the pie shell with butter and then put on top shell. ( I like to sprinkle milk and sugar on top of the pie) Bake at 400 for 50 min. If its too brown you have cooked it too long. You can cover your edges with foil before baking too.
