Heugly Christmas slush
Seeds from 1 pomegranate
1 can white grapefruit (med size) I only found one size.
1 can crushed pineapple (not small size) regular size
Beat grapefruit with a beater until torn up then mix with pineapple
1 c. sugar
1 c. water bring to a boil
Turn off heat
Add 2 or 3 drops of green food coloring ( I use 2)
Add 3-4 drops of mint extract (get it in the spice section)
In big bowl mix water and fruit together
After mixing add in pomegranate seeds that you have washed with cold water. (the best way to get the seeds out is to cut up in small pieces and put in cold water. Scoop out seeds. The fleshy part will rise to the top of the water.
Add the seeds at the end and stir with the other mixture.
Pour into large pyrex dish and freeze. Cut into 1” cubes add ginger ale. I usually do 3-5 cubes with a little ginger ale to cover it.
Delish!!

****The slush is green with red pomegranate seeds in it..Very festive.
