2 ½ cups sugar
1 cup + 2 Tbsp. cup butter, no substitute
3 tablespoon water
3 eggs
3 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups + 1 Tbsp. flour
1 cup + 2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt

chocolate chips, or peanut butter, or mint, or… to sprinkle on the top(optional)
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Combine sugar, butter, and water. Stir in eggs and vanilla. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Add dry ingredients to sugar mixture. Stir until combined. Pour into a greased 13 x 9 pan and cook for 32-38 minutes or until toothpick comes out still slightly gooey at the bottom of the toothpick
